Automated Assignment

This functionality allows for the automatic assignment of leads to team members according to location, source and category criteria.

Setting up Lead Cluster Assignment Rules

Important Note: This section must be carried out by an individual who has manager access to your company’s Dealer Studio dashboard.

Steps:

1. Navigate to the lead cluster assignment rules section on the Dealer Studio dashboard (example URL: https://dashboard.dealerstudio.com.au/dealerships/greatdealership/lead_cluster_assignment_rules)
2. Click the “new” button to generate new lead cluster assignment rules
3. Select the desired location, category, source, and user combination, then press create
4. Repeat this procedure for every lead cluster assignment rule you wish to implement
5. You have the option to modify or delete assignment rules by selecting the buttons adjacent to each rule

How Leads Are Assigned

With the rules now established, whenever a lead is generated that aligns with any of the category, source and location criteria, team members linked to those rules will be considered for assignment of that lead.

The system implements an algorithm to guarantee a specific degree of fairness in the assignment process.
