Two Way Email Integration
Two-way email lets your team send emails to leads directly from the Dealer Studio LMS. Customer replies are automatically captured in the lead conversation — no manual forwarding or extra configuration needed.
Dealer Studio provisions a dedicated address for each dealership ({slug}@emails.dealerstudio.com.au). No DNS configuration or email setup is required on your end.
Sending an Email
Section titled “Sending an Email”- Navigate to the leads page and open a lead cluster
- Click the Email Conversation tab
- Select a sending address in the From dropdown
- Enter a subject and message, then click Send
The customer receives your email with the assigned salesperson’s name as the display name (e.g. Jane Smith - Dealership Name). When they reply, their message automatically appears in the same conversation thread.
To use pre-built templates, click Email Templates. To manage sending addresses, click the gear icon next to the From dropdown.
Sender Display Name
Section titled “Sender Display Name”The display name on outgoing emails is set automatically from the salesperson assigned to the lead — for example, Jane Smith - Dealership Name. If no salesperson is assigned, your name is used as the sender.
You do not need to configure this manually.
Receiving Customer Replies
Section titled “Receiving Customer Replies”No additional setup is required. Customer replies are routed back to Dealer Studio automatically. You do not need to configure email forwarding on your mail server.
Troubleshooting
