Dealer Studio storage

Incoming stellantis_id (camelCase stellantisId in JSON) is stored on the lead in the fields JSON (accessed in the app as lead.stellantis_id). This matches the Stellantis / Jeep LMS field used for updates to Salesforce.

When the API key’s default lead source is Manufacturer (or the lead source is already Manufacturer) and subsource is omitted, Dealer Studio sets subsource from the manufacturer matched to the payload brand when that brand is a known manufacturer subsource. For Jeep leads this means source: "Manufacturer" and subsource: "Jeep". An explicitly supplied subsource is left unchanged. Brands that are not yet in the manufacturer subsource list leave subsource blank.

Blank trade-in payloads

Stellantis often sends a full tradeIn object filled with empty strings and zeros even when tradeInFlag is false. Dealer Studio does not store that blank trade_in hash on the lead. Trade-in details are kept only when they contain meaningful vehicle information (for example a brand, model, or non-zero odometer).
