Loopit inventory integration
Loopit is a vehicle subscription platform. When your dealership is connected to Loopit, Dealer Studio can push your inventory to Loopit so subscription pricing and signup flows stay aligned with the cars you actually have in stock.
What gets sent
Section titled “What gets sent”Dealer Studio sends core vehicle and listing details Loopit needs (for example make, model, VIN, stock number, price, odometer, photos, and location-related data).
Loopit stock feeds are set up and managed under Stock feeds in Dealer Studio, in the same way as your other stock feeds. If your dealership uses one or more Loopit feeds, only vehicles that match those feed rules are sent to Loopit. If you do not use any Loopit feeds, eligible in-stock vehicles are included by default.
How often Loopit is updated
Section titled “How often Loopit is updated”Updates happen in two ways:
-
When you save a vehicle
After a vehicle is created or updated in Dealer Studio, we look for changes to fields that affect the listing (such as status, price, stock number, specifications, photos, or location). If any of those changed, we queue a background job to send the latest data to Loopit. In normal conditions that completes within a short time of the save—not on a fixed clock, but soon after the change. -
Scheduled full refresh
Separately, we run a bulk sync every hour between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (Australia/Brisbane time). During that window, each run re-queues in-stock vehicles for dealerships that use Loopit, so inventory stays reconciled even if something was missed.
Together, that means day-to-day edits are reflected quickly after save, and there is an hourly reconciliation during the 9:00 am–5:00 pm Brisbane window (every calendar day).
When a vehicle is marked as sold
Section titled “When a vehicle is marked as sold”When a vehicle’s status is set to sold, Dealer Studio removes that vehicle from Loopit’s inventory (via Loopit’s API) so it is no longer offered for subscription. You do not need to manually delete it in Loopit for that path—marking it sold in Dealer Studio triggers the removal as part of the same integration flow.
If you need Loopit enabled or adjusted for your dealership, contact Dealer Studio support.
